I’ve fallen behind writing up my thoughts about all of the exciting things that have been shown off in the past week or so, this was mainly due to a bout of illness and deciding to focus a few days on fixing the site template. I’m going to get back up to speed over the coming week and will work my way through the backlog. What better place to start than with Super Mario 3D World, eh? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink! (more…)

It looks like Microsoft just lost (or won) the game of pricing chicken they have been playing with Sony for the past few months. While the main details of both companies next-gen consoles mostly been in the wild for some time, they have kept shtum about the pricing and release dates… until Microsoft got their arm twisted by some leaks that were released last night. It’s been a quiet year on the Nintendo Direct front. Apart from a few presentations focused on Indie Developers, Partners and specific games due to be released there hasn’t been much in the way of news direct from the Big N until now. (more…)

One of the more pleasant pieces of news to appear in the past few weeks was the announcement of an unexpected piece of free downloadable content for Untitled Goose Game. Scheduled for release on the game’s first anniversary (23rd September), the new content will bring a second terrible goose into the mix. (more…)

Well then, this blogging malarkey has been going well! It has been nearly a month since I posted last. To explain, I got side-tracked by several things; illness, exhaustion (from said illness), work, a few personal projects and laziness… yes, mostly laziness. (more…)

Today (well, yesterday) I took part in the first day of this year’s Pokémon Go Fest event. The internet just can’t help itself when it comes to sniffing around the plans of games companies, especially during the summer dry period. In recent weeks we have seen a few Twitter handles pop up for assorted un-released Nintendo titles, and it appears that a new one has been found. (more…)

Hello and welcome to PeeJay’s Two Coins Blog. I am Peter, and this is my little corner of the internet where I will be talking about nothing but video games! Shock, horror!
Here you should expect to find articles relating to gaming news and announcements along with my takes. This will be limited to news that piqued my interest, instead of absolutely everything because let’s face it, I’d be here all day and nobody wants that, especially me! Another frequent feature will be stories about my experiences with games, although I must warn you my current gaming obsession is Animal Crossing, so you’ll be hearing a lot about that!
Impressions, reviews and retrospectives also aren’t out of the question. If you like what you see so far, stick around and make yourself at home! 🙂
