One of the more pleasant pieces of news to appear in the past few weeks was the announcement of an unexpected piece of free downloadable content for Untitled Goose Game. Scheduled for release on the game’s first anniversary (23rd September), the new content will bring a second terrible goose into the mix.
Untitled Goose Game was one of my favourite games of 2019, it wasn’t a very long game but it was one that you remembered every minute of. For the uninitiated, the game’s plot is simple, you control a naughty goose as you wreak havoc upon a quiet village. For what purpose, I can’t tell you without spoiling the games ending, but it’s definitely worth a try!
The new mode will allow you to terrorise the village with a friend in a local two-player mode. I’m sure there will be a small choir of people bitching about the lack of online multiplayer, but I feel this is a game that will certainly be best suited to both players sitting on the same sofa as spam the honk button together while giving the villagers hell!
it’s also worth noting that a few other versions of the game will made available shortly after on the 29th September. This includes a Steam release (this title was originally an Epic Store exclusive *spits*), and physical releases for the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4.
